Central Vacuum Systems by MD

It seems every week at Lynn’s I’m telling someone about the services that we offer, and their always surprised that we offer so much. It’s more than just selling TV’s and car speakers. We offer many services for your home and business, car, and much more! We are continually looking for better products and services to offer to our customers. One of our new exciting services that we are offering is Central Vacuum Systems.

MD Silentmaster, Vacuums up to 20,000 sq-ft

They are many benefits for having a central vacuum system in your home. One of the most common myths is that you can only have a central vacuum system installed in new construction. This is far from the truth, in less than a couple of hours we can install a central Vacuum in your existing walls. People always tell me “I would like a central vacuum in my house” like it’s something far out of their reach, and only for people who are used to the “finer” things in life.  But really when you weigh the options it doesn't seem so far-fetched.

I haven’t ever used a vacuum that didn't create noise, they’re loud. When you vacuum people can’t talk, you can’t hear your house cleaning music, and if anyone is sleeping they won't be for long. I can’t count the number of times when I was a kid at home and my mom would vacuum up and down the hallways and wake everyone up.  Central Vacuums give you the option to put the actual vacuum motor in a garage or closet, far from the ears of those who might get disturbed.

Typical Setup for a 2 story home
Did you know that most canister and bag vacuums emit irritants into the air? Most of the vacuums whether it’s Dyson, Hoover, or Eureka etc. are designed to have a blow off exhaust. The air going into a vacuum has to go somewhere and usually its back into the space you’re cleaning, seems a little redundant. Central Vacuum systems such as MD Central Vacuums have special designed filtration systems to capture all the irritants as possible keeping them far from the area you’re vacuuming.

All of us have vacuumed stairs in our homes and had that experience where we have watched the vacuum fall down the stairs and roll at us like the huge bolder like the one that ran down Indiana Jones. Standard vacuums are heavy. You have to carry the motor, dirt and all that plastic that comes with your vacuum. The motors in bag less/bag vacuums are only as good as the motor, but companies have to design a vacuum that a person could carry the vacuum around the house. This means that they have to cut the power of the motor for suction. The MD vacuum central vacuum systems that we carry have over 10 times more power than your standard vacuum. The only part that you have to carry with a central vac system is the hose and attachments.

MD Vacuum's Vac Pan
MD vacuum systems have over 25 different attachments that you can get for your home. More than the long skinny attachment piece that usually will get lost. You can get attachments for your kitchen such as a kitchen sweep, where you can actually sweep all the dirt into a slot that sucks it away without a dust pan. You can get hoses for each part of the house. We usually find that with 2-3 hoses and inlet valves we can cover an entire house. Every part of your house can be covered by your central vac, without winding up cords.

One of the most important reasons for getting a central vacuum in your home is that it adds value to your home. When you buy an expensive vacuum such as Dyson or Oreck Vacuums you’ll spend at least 500 dollars on a vacuum. This is money that you’ll never see again, with a central vacuum it will add value to your home and if you ever sell your home it will give your home value. Why buy a vacuum that will eventually end up in a dump or a second hand store?

When we were deciding which vacuum to carry we had a lot of options. Many might know Beam or Electrolux but many might have not heard of MD. MD is one of the oldest companies out there. All of their production is done here in the USA, right out of California and their warranties are one of the best in the industry. They make a quality product which they stand by. We wanted to offer you our customer the best product and the best service that’s why we’re so excited to offer this service!

MD Central Vacuums will make your life easier, you won’t realize how great the system is until you add it to your own home. People always swear by their central vacuum systems and say they won’t ever go back to the old way of vacuuming. The question is will your home be next?
