What music do you use to test your speakers?

So, you've got your new sound system or brand new headphones and you want to test your sound quality. Do you have a go-to song? Here are some of our favorite songs for testing sound quality and why we love them:

1. Bohemian Rhapsody

This song has everything from heavy bass, to soft piano, to a'cappella, to switching from the right and left speaker outputs. You can practically test it all with this one song.

2. Clair De Lune

Testing for soft and silent moments is just as important as testing for loudness. If your speakers are are great for high sensitivity, then you  should not hear any hissing or buzzing sounds during the quiet parts of = the song.

3. Lucky

Both vocalists have such pure voices and the backup behind the vocals is  pretty simple in this song, so this one is a great test to hear how  natural the vocals sound.

4. Hotel California (Live)

This is a great song for testing your bass right at the beginning when  the bongo comes in. Remember, testing bass isn't about looking for louder bass notes, a good subwoofer is actually going to increase the = deepness of the bass notes.

Some of the best sound tests are done by using your favorite songs  because you are familiar with the songs and will know what to look  for.
